Akro Fireguard has developed a range of proprietary systems to meet the needs of fire resistance and high temperature composite applications. Using the technology as the basis, Akro Fireguard is able to engineer, design and manufacture solutions to complex fire, thermal and acoustical problems.

Akro technology includes:
Maralon Fiber reinforced, high temperature fire resistant composite system which allows the fabrication of complex components ranging from firewalls to high temperature ducting. Maralon based components provide a technically superior and lower cost alternative to traditional materials such as stainless steel and titanium.
Akrotherm Syntactic foam systems designed to provide a combination of structure, insulation and fire resistance. Akrotherm materials form the basis of sandwich panels and complex 3-dimensional sandwich structures. Components range from fire resistant enclosures to interior paneling and components.
