Akro selects the highest quality suppliers of raw materials. In some instances, Akro works directly with the supplier to custom develop a material to best meet airline needs. Akro has established favorable supply arrangements with most suppliers of raw materials. Raw materials are often available from Akro at lower than standard retail prices. Major raw material suppliers include Lamart and Facile cover films, E & H Laminating tapes and Johns Manville and UPF fiberglass batting.
